Design process

The design process was agile, with four defined production stages:

Colour

The selection of colors was inspired by the target audiences’ age group, based on color psychology. A more mature age group would gravitate to ‘mature’ colours. I chose purple because it represents exclusiveness, green to represent sustainability and black as a neutral color for text.

Profile

Each user will have a profile that contains information about the user. This information will be used by Lokal Danmark in creating a customized experience for the user. This could include offers and discounts on local events, travel tips and useful parameters on the user’s activities.

Other information entered here could also include the user’s social media account information, which would then be used to integrate information generated by the app with the user’s social accounts, enabling them to share their experience with their social network.
